SK-AM69: Issue with Debugger USB560v2 using SK-AM69

Part Number: SK-AM69
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMDSEMU560V2STM-U, AM69

Hi TI,

I'm using a SK-AM69 and a brand new usb560v2 debugger connected to J15 20-pin CTI header for the first time.

I've installed Bh560v2Config v 1.0.0.14 and it's recognizes the debugger. But if I run the tests I am receiving the following error:

Blackhawk Configuration Utility Tests
    CMD: dbgjtag -X emulator,driver=bh560v2u,ioport=0 -S integrity -Y reset -S pathlength
    Loaded FPGA Image: C:\ti\ccs1260\ccs\ccs_base\common\uscif\dtc_top.jbc

An error occurred while hard opening the controller.

-----[An error has occurred and this utility has aborted]--------------------

This error is generated by TI's USCIF driver or utilities.

    The value is '-180' (0xffffff4c).
    The title is 'SC_ERR_CTL_NO_TRG_POWER'.

    The explanation is:
The controller has detected a target power loss.
The user must turn-on or connect the power supply for the target.

    RES: dbgjtag -X emulator,driver=bh560v2u,ioport=0 -S integrity -Y reset -S pathlength
    RES: Fail

Via CCSv12.7 I'm receiving this error:

CCS Test Connection
[Start: Blackhawk XDS560v2-USB System Trace Emulator_0]

    Execute the command:

    %ccs_base%/common/uscif/dbgjtag.exe -f %boarddatafile% -rv -o -F inform,logfile=yes -S pathlength -S integrity

    [Result]

    -----[Print the board config pathname(s)]------------------------------------

    C:\Users\549KRA~1\AppData\Local\TEXASI~1\
        CCS\ccs1260\0\0\BrdDat\testBoard.dat

    -----[Print the reset-command software log-file]-----------------------------

This utility has selected a 560/2xx-class product.
This utility will load the program 'bh560v2u.out'.
    Loaded FPGA Image: C:\ti\ccs1260\ccs\ccs_base\common\uscif\dtc_top.jbc
The library build date was 'Mar 13 2024'.
The library build time was '12:55:46'.
The library package version is '12.7.0.00105'.
The library component version is '35.35.0.0'.
The controller does not use a programmable FPGA.

[End: Blackhawk XDS560v2-USB System Trace Emulator_0]

Both mention the power loss of the targets device, but checking the targets voltage on pin 5 of J15, I measure 3.3V.

The onboard debugger XDS110 is working fine though.

Does anyone has seen this before?

To me it seems that the USB560v2 debugger is broken.

Best,
Kim
