TMS320C6713B: TMS32C6713B and TMS320C32 programming

Hello, we should quote, for our primary customer, manufacturing, testing and programming of some boardds equipped with the following DSPs

TMS320C32

TMS32C6713B

we have a Blackhawk USB560v2 emulator.

We think the emulator will support the TMS32C6713B, but we are not sure what's the CComposer version to use.

We have no idea if the much older TMS320C32 is supported.

Could you help us about that?

C6713

C6713B has support for DSP/BIOS as documented here. It also says which versions of CCS were used for each DSP/BIOS release:

C32

This part is extremely old. I have collected the information that I'm aware of here:

You will need a very old software called "Code Composer". Note that this is NOT "Code Composer Studio". Code Composer predates the Code Composer Studio line. The last version is Code Composer v4 from 1998. This tool requires a paid license. Do you have a paid license?

This will not work with C32. You need to find an old MPSD based debug probe like the XDS510PP MPSD or SPI530 MPSD. There are obsolete so it may be difficult to find a vendor for this.
