Could you please provide the GEL file for the TMS320C6655 processor? Additionally, any guidance or troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue would be greatly appreciated.

There is no TI EVM for C6655 processor.

What I have given is the gel file for C6657 processor which works for C6657 EVM.

You may have to modify the gel file according to your custom hardware design with C6655.

I have referred to the document "Creating Device Initialization GEL Files (Rev. A)" but I am still unsure about the exact modifications needed for my specific requirements.

Could you please provide guidance or an example of how to update the GEL file for initializing the following components:

System clocks and PLLs
DDR memory
Peripheral interfaces (e.g., UART, I2C, GPIO, SPI, ARINC, McBSP and UPP)

I would greatly appreciate any assistance or resources you can provide to help me correctly configure the GEL file for the TMS320C6655 processor.

This GEL file modification is with respect to your custom design with C6655 processor.

You are the right person to modify them as I may not know your Hardware design of your custom board.

Do you have any TI EVM say for example, C6657- TI-EVM? so that, I can guide you succeed in that hardware board on how to run the gel file etc...

With reference to that, you can do for your custom board.

We tried to comment some code in the gel file “EVMC6657l.gel”, related to memory and failed to access the device.
Are there any other modifications, we should consider while modifying the code? Can you please provide the details?

Sure.

Let us go step by step.

As a first step, try to ( create + test ) a target configuration file for C6655 using ccs 9.3 version.

Before to you load and run the gel file, the target configuration step has to be successful.

Follow the steps given here on how to create the target configuration and test the target board -C6655.

Once done, post the screenshot of your test on target configuration.
