SK-TDA4VM: What is the OS difference between "PROCESSOR-SDK-LINUX-SK-TDA4VM" and "PROCESSOR-SDK-RTOS-J721E, PROCESSOR-SDK-LINUX-J721E"

We are using the SK-TDA4VM kit and need to evaluate the entire TDA4VM SoC processor.

Is it possible to flash both the PROCESSOR-SDK-RTOS-J721E and the PROCESSOR-SDK-LINUX-J721E onto the SK-TDA4VM kit?

Do the "Linux SDK for edge AI on TDA4VM" and the "PROCESSOR-SDK-RTOS-J721E" have the same RTOS? Additionally, does the "Linux SDK for edge AI on TDA4VM" have the same Linux as the "PROCESSOR-SDK-LINUX-J721E"?

    We have checked the link provided.

    After flashing the Linux SDK for edge AI package and the PROCESSOR-SDK-LINUX-J721E separately on the SK-TDA4VM kit, we found that both Linux versions are the same.

    Linux SDK for edge AI package - tisdk-edgeai-image-j721e-evm.wic.xz

    PROCESSOR-SDK-LINUX-J721E package - tisdk-adas-image-j721e-evm.tar.xz and boot-adas-j721e-evm.tar.gz

    Do the "Linux SDK for edge AI on TDA4VM" and the "PROCESSOR-SDK-RTOS-J721E" have the same RTOS? Additionally, does the "Linux SDK for edge AI on TDA4VM" include the same Linux as the "PROCESSOR-SDK-LINUX-J721E"?

    Yes, they have the same RTOS drivers and same Linux drivers. The change comes where there are no edgeAI related components / plugins in case of RTOS J721E SDK and there are additional overlays added in this case to get the drivers on RTOS or Linux 

    But please refer the key highlights in the link above to get the exact differences.

    The SDKs are tested on the respective boards and interchanging them is not suggested.
