AM67: AM67 Power design using TPS6522312-Q1 PMIC

Part Number: AM67

Tool/software:

Hi Sirs

We are planning to use AM67 with TPS6522312-Q1 PMIC to start our design.

I see there is a document "J722S/AM67x/TDA4VEN/TDA4AEN Processor Automotive Power Designs using TPS6522312-Q1 PMIC" which describes the different function. (PDN-7 series, PDN-5 series)

We based on the PDN-7A5 since our power source is 5V, then modify some power rail, here is our thought and block diagram below, please help to check is there any problem.

a. VDD_CORE, VDDA_CORE_xxx, VDD_CANUART feed by TPS62875B2-Q1 in order to support 1.4GHz or 1.25GHz feature.

b. Buck 3 (0.85V) connects to VDDR_CORE, VDD_MMC0

c. BUCK 4 (3.3V) connects to VDDSHV3

d. VDDSHVy, VDDSHV_MCU, VDDSHV_CANUART connects to BUCK 1 (1.8V)

e. GPIO1 (RS1) to 0 and GPIO2 (RS2) to no connected, one of AM67 GPIO pin control GPIO1 of TPS6522312-Q1, LDO2 connects to VDDSHV5 for SD card operating.

f. Additional load switch for VPP usage, controlled by one of AM67 GPIO pin.

Thank you
