TDA4AP-Q1: Is Signing Remote Core Firmware Must Required on HS-FS Devices

Part Number: TDA4AP-Q1

Tool/software:

Hi TI Experts,

Customer is working on TDA4AP SDK9.2.

According to the following guide at section 9.8.7, there are some additional steps to use both HS-FS & HS-SE devices.

https://software-dl.ti.com/jacinto7/esd/processor-sdk-rtos-j784s4/09_02_00_05/exports/docs/psdk_rtos/docs/user_guide/developer_notes_psdkla.html

It mentions that remote cores firmware should be signed and renamed/suffixed by "-sec" string shown below.

May I know if this step is also must required for HS-FS or it is just must required for HS-SE please?

The reason I am asking is that, as we know at HS-FS we did not burn the key, how could we sign the remote core at HS-FS?

Thanks a lot,

Kevin
