Hello Sir,

I'm Martin in Korea.

I ordered TMDSEMU560V2STM-U (Order Number: T05138651) through TI E-Store.
I received the product yesterday and used it right away, but it does not work properly.

  1. The PC and device are connected via USB, but the emulator is not recognized by the PC.

  2. The MODE LED should blink about 10 times and then the USB LED should turn green, but it doesn't. The MODE LED keeps blinking and connection is not possible. I tried this several times but it also failed.
    I have been using the same product consistently.

  3. This product is not new and looks like someone has used it. When I first received it, the seal on the product box was broken and the seal was very dirty. And it shows that the serial number of the product is a very old product. If necessary, I will send you photos of the condition of the box.

Please let me know a solution or future action for this.

    Please contact Blackhawk support (support@blackhawk-dsp.com) directly to help troubleshoot the issue. They will be able to tell if the debug probe can be recovered somehow.

    I have already contacted Blackhawk-DSP.

    They said that the only way to do this is to RMA the product as shown below.

    Why should I pay for round trip airfare and repair costs? This is exactly what TI needs to fix.
    Please stop wasting time and give me a proper solution.

    If you can’t put it into safe mode it requires uboot update
    The issue that you dont have the necessary software to fix it

    It takes few seconds but doing it remotely might be possible via UART but preferably I do the test myself on the units.

    Use the RMA I given you.

    BH-USB-560V2 cannot enter safe mode.
    I've tried turning the power on and off more than 10 times, but I can't switch to safe mode.
    The computer does not recognize the USB device, but the firmware cannot be updated. This issue is also frequently posted on TI E2E.
    Please tell me the exact way to put BH-USB-560V2 into safe mode.

  • And I think you sent me a defective product instead of a new one.
    The product's seal is broken and dirty. You sent me a product with a very old serial number.
    I am still using these products and I know exactly what the problem is. This is clearly a problem with the product and I received a defective product instead of a new one.
    Please stop making ridiculous excuses and exchange or refund me as soon as possible.
