My customer designed the UCD9222 and UCD7242 for the TMS320C6678 same as page 33 of EVM schematic in link below.

While testing the board they designed, the following issues occurred.

Pin 17 PowerGood normally has ‘H’ output, but PG1 and 2 are ‘L’ and the UCD7242 output is not coming out.

Only / RESET and ENA1,2 Pin are controlled in FPGA.

Do they need to control PMBUS or VID separately? Please advise on the cause and solution to this issue.

Hello JH,

I don't expect any issues would exist if they're following the EVM reference.

I recommend that you carefully measure the handshake/perimeter of the customer design for the UCD components, and compare to the EVM.

We are also struggling with the same issue.
Does the output come from the hardware configuration??
Or do we need to set it to jtag or PMBus at first?

The datasheet of UCD9222 noted " the UCD9222 has flash memory and a serial interface to support configurability, monitoring and management."

For operatiing UCD9222, Do you mean that we don't to need any writing the flash memory ?
