H.264 images saving with ./Appro_avi_save

I have a DMVA2IPNC-MT5 camera and I use ./Appro_avi_save application to save H.264 encoded video from the camera. The application works fine for the video, but I now want to get the individual images rather than the video. In write_video_frame function, I tried to modify the code to save only individual images, but it doesn't work. Could anyone please let me now what should I change in that function to save individual images, rather than the video?
