Tool/software:
Hi,
Does AM3356 support TRDP(Train Real-Time Data Protocol) protocol? We are already using AM3356 in our design and we need to implement TRDP protocol in the design.

Hello Chippy,
TI does not provide PRU Ethernet firmware for TRDP. You can find the industrial protocols where we have written PRU firmware for them here:
https://www.ti.com/tool/PRU-ICSS-INDUSTRIAL-SW
You may be able to reach out to a third party developer for a quote on implementing an industrial networking protocol on the AM335x. Let us know if you need a list of some companies that we have worked with in the past.

Noted. Thank you for your support.
Could you please also confirm what is the maximum number of CAN channels your processors have.
Hi Nick,
I haven't received any response on this request. Could you please check on this.
Hi Chippy,
I recommend checking page 2 of the AM335x datasheet:
It mentions: – Up to Two Controller-Area Network (CAN) Ports – Supports CAN Version 2 Parts A and B
