TMS320C6655: Transmit data shuffling in McBSP of TMS320C6655

Hi,

For my present project, I am developing the custom driver for McBSP peripheral in C6655 device.

1) At present, we were able to set the FS and CLK from McBSP peripheral, as shown below,

2) In our application, I need to send four words between two FS pulses. For setting such words, I performed the regular CPU write operation to DX register.

3) In the Oscilloscope, I observed the words got shuffled between the FS pulses.

Please provide the relevant suggestions for resolving such behaviour from McBSP.

By any chance you have C6657 Ti-EVM?

We have a working McBSP example code which runs successfully on C6657 TI EVM.

Try with TI-EVM and then move on to custom board.

It is always good to start with something which already works.

With reference, you can make the custom board work.

Hi Shankari,

We don't have the TI-EVM at present.

We got some quires, during our custom driver development process. Is there any provision to discuss with expert directly?

Custom driver is not needed for McBSP on C6655.

The loop back example is already available in the processor SDK 6.3.
