SDK version 09.01.00.07 and I enabled ee as follows

For EE modules to take effect on AM6xA, enable ee_mode as shown in the following:
• Open /opt/edgeai-tiovx-modules/src/tiovx_viss_module.c and find ee_mode
• Enable edge enhancement by setting ee_mode as below:
– obj->params.fcp[0].ee_mode = TIVX_VPAC_VISS_EE_MODE_Y8;

Do I have to add something to the gstreamer pipline? For AM69A someone added ee-mode=2 but when I try this I get an error.

Should it also work for live tuning as this works fine for blc, awb, cc.

Thanks for the additional information. I think what you did to enable EE was right. In SDK 9.2, you don't need to recompile the source code and can enable it in gstreamer pipeline.

In fact, the effect of EE may not easily be observed. Can you try an extreme EE setting to see the effect?

For extreme EE settings, you may max out the gain and the effect should be very obvious on the display.

I tried extreme EE settings but could not observe any effect.

BTW: Do I have to rebuild and reinstall the modules by running the /opt/edgeai-gst-apps/scripts/install_tiovx_modules.sh script as for enabling live tuning?

Hi Christoph,

In the CMakeLists.txt file, modify (ENABLE_DCC_TOOL  "Enable DCC Tuning Tool Support" OFF -> ON) then run the install_tiovx_modules.sh script to enable live tuning.

sorry for the misunderstanding. Live tuning works fine but my question was whether I have to run the install_tiovx_modules.sh script to enable edge enhancement as well.
