The design guide describes the use of clock generators.
Can customer use a fixed frequency crystal device?
Are there any circuits that use a quartz device with a fixed frequency output?

They are using CDCE62005, if there is a reference example that is supplied with a crystal device, please let us know. (Crystal Device Model Name, etc.)

Using a clock generator, It has the advantage of being able to evaluate the possibility of reducing the current consumption by changing (or stopping) the supply frequency.
On the other hand, it has the disadvantage that the first write operation is required and the risk of the clock becoming unstable is higher than that of a crystal device.

I don't think a crystal can be used for these differential clocks. I recommend following the EVM as a reference.
