TDA4AP-Q1: IPC Local Endpoint for A72

Hi Tarrun, 

I think  I have communicate with A72 but I don't know the A72 localEp, so  It don't work successlly. Are there some commands to get the A72 localEp?   Our App run log like this: 

Set  localEp and  remoteEp  the same ID in MCU part, it works. （1）And why can not  use  different endpoint?  （2）A72 local endpoint set different ID from the MCU part , it works too---- My question  is MCU remoteEp not match A72 localEp ,why it can work?

A72 local end point will be dynamic it is not fixed, A72 initiates the communication and its end point will be shared in its first message. Since the local end point of R5F core is fixed then R5F core after receiving message from A72 fetches the end point of A72 and will send the message as a response.

In A72 linux example rpmsg_char_simple it is default coded remote EP for R5F as 14.End points can be different there is no reason for local and remote End points has to be same.

MCU remote end point can be different from A72 local end point , on what end point A72 has to receive message on that details are enough to get the message .No reason to be same.

Set  localEp and  remoteEp  different ID in MCU part, it does not work.

The sample examples are written considering the local EP and Remote EP are same , so if you change it might fail. You need to develop new custom application if you are planning for different local EP and Remote EP as different. From driver perspective it is supported.
