Tool/software:
Hi!
I read an 8 month old post on this forum where a TI employee said that IEC61508 certification is expected to be complete by Q4 2024.
Is this still on schedule?
Best regards,
Oscar

Hello again. I have not yet heard anything from your marketing team. When can I expect this question to be answered?
Hello Oscar,
Thank you for you interest in TI's processor devices. We will update the appropriate certificates on product page when completed. (See example below.)
Please reach out to TI sales for exploring options on proceeding with development while the certification is in progress.

We understand this is what it will look like once certified.
However, what we need to know is some kind of indication on how long the delay is expected to be. Are we talking a "short" delay of some weeks, (Q12025), or a longer delay - if we are to design this chip into our product we need some timeline for when we can expect a certificate.
