AM3352: Clear AM3352 ADC FSM_BUSY bit

Tool/software:

We are using am3352 on our controller board, where we have a linux kernel module which uses the ADC, it works fine in normal operations, but in some edge cases the ADC state machine is stuck and we have FSM_BUSY bit set in the ADC STAT register

and the only way currently to clear this bit is to reset the board.

But as the ADC is a critical part of our application , rebooting the board is unfortunately not an option for us.

are there steps to clear the FSM_BUSY bit

we are currently stuck with issue and searching for solutions

It would be helpful if you provide a solution

As in, one of these releases from 2015-2016?

The ADC driver has had a bunch of updates since that SDK release that are not easy to backport. I would suggest moving to a later AM335x SDK release. We will put out the 2024 SDK release for AM335x within the next month if you want to use the latest software.

Most of the features on SDK 2 should still be supported in our most recent releases. Feel free to list the peripherals that you are using if you want me to check that they should all still be supported in the latest release.
