Can you tell us the use case for UFS use?

If you are looking for software impact, check the J784S4_BuildSheet.xlsx for the software support available in the SDK.

For better cost and emc performance we are prefering UFS.

I am a hardware guy can you give more explanation on the impact

Hello Ratheesh,

I suggest checking with your software team on the intended case for using UFS. Here are a few comments to check:

- Will it be used only from A72 Linux since our SDK supports UFS only from Linux?

- UFS is not supported as a booting device

- No support for UFS on SBL and RTOS SDK.
