Hi,

I have a problem with SD card creation for OMAPL138 custom board. I am following SDK package 6.03. I used the script that is given in the SDK package. Previously I can create SD card through this process. I am using external memory card reader and internal memory card reader. Now In both cases I cannot create a new SD card. I followed the steps that are mentioned in the script file and I am using default images that exist in the SDK. Some times SD card partition using script goes wrong. Some times partition will be success but rootfs partition have "structure clean error" occur. Some times rootfs partition will not create. Please guide me for a solution

First off, please note that we can no longer offer software or hardware design support for OMAP-L138. For additional notes, please refer to this thread:

Your specific question

Please note that I will NOT be able to give guidance specific to OMAP-L138 or OMAP-L138 software. But I will make a couple comments to see if it is helpful.

Are you able to run the scripts with the TI provided filesystem, or is it also not working there?

Have you tried with a fresh SD card?

Hi Nick,

Yes I can run the script. I created SD card three months back. I followed the same procedure for creating new one. But the result is unsatisfactory.

I will use a new SD card and I will let you know.

I created the other post because the topic is different and I need help for that. Any of this two ways, I want to create a new SD card. So I tried both ways. I don't know why cloning failed.

Hi Nick,

I tried to create new SD card in two new cards. But the problem is still exist. While opening the rootfs partition some error message like Structure needs cleaning. I don't know why it occur. What I have to do.

If the create SD card script is working as expected with the TI provided images, we cannot really provide any additional assistance here.

There are many different ways to write a filesystem to an SD card.
