TDA4AL-Q1: TDA4AL-Q1: Applying a Patch for TDA4AL with TI SDK-LINUX-J721S2

 Hi,

    I'm trying to apply a patch for TDA4AL using the TI SDK-LINUX-J721S2 (available at: https://www.ti.com/tool/download/PROCESSOR-SDK-RTOS-J721S2/). However, this SDK is configured for the TDA4VE, not the TDA4AL.

We are using a FIH hardware board with a TDA4AL processor, while the TI EVM board uses a TDA4VE. The TI SDK's ADAS image works on the TI EVM board but not on our FIH hardware.

The key differences between the TDA4VE and TDA4AL that are likely contributing to this issue are:

  1. The TDA4AL does not support the Graphics Accelerator.
  2. The TDA4AL's R5F has only four cores.
  3. The TDA4AL's on-chip shared RAM is limited to 512KB.
  4. The TDA4AL does not support DDR SS1.
  5. The TDA4AL's display system has lower channel capability than the TDA4VE.

Could you please provide a patch for the TDA4AL using the TI SDK-LINUX-J721S2?
