Set up description :
We are using TMS320DM8168CCYGA2 from many years. We already built many boards and it is a stable working design. The standard process of loading filesystem for the process is through ETHERNET interface. We usually connect our network to both the processor board & a PC (usually call it as server PC used exclusively for our board). Then we have the filesystem saved in particular location in the PC. So initially we assign static IP to the board and then give the path of the filesystem through commands. See the attached terminal log for details.
Issue description :
Recently we changed the linux PC to a new linux PC. We reatined the harddisk. So now when we try above procedure to load file system, it gets stuck. It is getting time out after continuous DHCP request. I do not have logs of successful boot using old PC. That PC is not working now. So I dont know whether it was searching for IP through DHCP request in earlier set up. But now it is stuck and not loading the filesystem. The only thing changed is PC. Harddisk, path of the file system, filesystem files, hub, cable, network, board everything is same. What could have gone wrong here? Can anyone help me in identifying the issue? I am not great network guy, it could be simple issue. Please suggest.
