AM62L: How to select different boot partition on eMMC

Hello Everyone!

We stumbled over the errata for the AM62L, and this created the question if and how we can choose a different boot partition.

In the TRM it is noted that the default is the partition 0, but it can be changed with the correct bootoptions

Sadly, the Table 5-6 marks all the options as reserved

Would you be able to clarify how I can set the boot partitions? And am I able to fuse them into my reduced custom bootoptions?

There's more info on eMMC boot in "5.4.3.1 eMMC Bootloader Operation".
eMMC boot partition (boot0 or boot1) is selected based on eMMC EXT_CSD[179], which needs to be configured, here is one reference on how to configure it in u-boot.

Unfortunately there's an errata "i2473 Boot: eMMC boot may fail" in AM62L SR1.0 errata

Details: eMMC boot using boot partitions is unreliable. This issue is still under investigation. Note, this advisory does not apply to eMMC Boot using UDA.
Workaround(s): None. Recommend to use eMMC boot using UDA or a different boot media.
