I run the pre build tisdk -default -image -AM62pxx-evm-10.01.10.04.rootfs.wic.xz and gpio directory under /sys/class does not exist so I can’t manage gpio via sys/class/gpio.
Can you help things to do to see gpio directory so I can set / get gpio’s on io expander 1 like p05 to enable 3.3v on j4 pin1. Thanks

Hello,

There are two options you can try:

Sysfs GPIO has been deprecated as stated here: https://git.ti.com/cgit/ti-linux-kernel/ti-linux-kernel/tree/Documentation/admin-guide/gpio/sysfs.rst?h=ti-linux-6.6.y
- You can re-enable it with in the kernel config menu:
- Then you'll have to rebuild the kernel: https://software-dl.ti.com/processor-sdk-linux/esd/AM62PX/latest/exports/docs/linux/Foundational_Components_Kernel_Users_Guide.html
Or, use the libgpiod userspace commands. You can refer to the manpages for 'gpioget' and 'gpioset' by adding the --help flag at the end.
