Dear TI Support Team,

I am working on a project using the latest TI AM68A Starter Kit and SDK (v10.1). We are integrating a SIMCom SIM7600 4G LTE modem via USB for internet connectivity.

We initially tested the modem using PPP over USB, and although it works, the network speed is significantly low, especially for our RTMP video streaming use case. Therefore, we would like to switch to ModemManager integration over USB for better performance and management.

Could you please clarify the following:

  1. Does the AM68A (with SDK v10.1) officially support ModemManager and NetworkManager for managing LTE modems like SIM7600?

  2. Are there any known compatibility issues, kernel module requirements, or additional configurations needed to use ModemManager with the SIM7600?

  3. Do you have any reference implementations or recommended guidelines for enabling LTE connectivity via ModemManager (e.g., systemd services, D-Bus API, QMI support, etc.) on the AM68A platform?

Any documentation or examples would be greatly appreciated.
