Thank you for your guidance so far.
Let me explain my setup. I am using the BeaglePlay AI and BeagleBone AI-64 boards, and I have been working with the C7x + DSP cores on these targets. My goal is to perform image and video processing, and as an initial step, I need to set up the C7x + DSP core environment using the C7000 compiler. I am currently working with vector APIs and datatypes.
Initially, I tried to do this in a Linux environment, but I was unable to flash the code to the target board. I encountered an “INVALID FORMAT” error and am not sure how to resolve it.
Due to this issue, I decided to switch to Code Composer Studio (CCS). However, in CCS, I am unable to find or select the target boards (AM67A, AM68A). I have also referred to the reference manuals but could not find a clear explanation.
Could you please guide me through the end-to-end process of setting up the environment for the C7x + DSP core?
