TDA4VPE-Q1: unable to MUX PCIe - CLKREQn pin when SDcard enabled

SOC used here: TDA4APE6-Q1

We want to use both SDcard(MMC_1) and PCIe1 port in the Board.

MMC_1 Cd pin interferes with PCIe1 - CLKREQn

I see that PCIe1 - CLKREQn is used for transitioning to and from low power states, Here it is done without Wake signal pin.

My question is:

Once the SOC bootsup through SDcard with CD pin, Can I Remux CD pin to CLKREQn?

If I dont want to transition to PCIe Low power states, can I use this pin for SDcard - CD pin and leave CLKREQn optional?

Hi Sadeed,

Yes, the CLKREQn is not used if not planning to support the L1s power state for PCIe.

Hi,

CLKREQn in PCIe is Active low pin right ?, So if i use it for SDcard - CD pin -? then that Should cause any problem for PCIe port right?
