I am using blaze with 4430 with kernel 3.0 using this checkout

git checkout 7e8957f6091917a778c35f95a6673c5a9783ed6f

I can see only android logo and automatically reboots

with an error msg CUSTOM SRESP error with SOURCE:L4 PER2

    What software release are you working with?  (The release notes for the recent Ice Cream Sandwich K3.0 releases are listed here: http://www.omappedia.com/wiki/Release_Notes#BlazeTablet_Release_Notes)

    It is important that you use the kernel commit ID from a recent release and that the x-loader, u-boot, kernel, and Android filesystem versions are all matched to that release, as this is how our releases are tested and validated.  Your x-loader and u-boot are quite old, and it looks like you are using an intermediate kernel commit ID, not from an official release, which could cause a lot of issues.  

    Could you move to 4AI.1.2 (the most recent K3.0 release) and test again: http://omappedia.org/wiki/4AI.1.2_OMAP4_Icecream_Sandwich_Release_Notes

    It looks like other people have run into the same error when using an old version of the x-loader.  Please make sure that you are using the x-loader from the L27.IS.2 release; it looks like you are using a much older version.  As I mentioned, you should always use the x-loader, u-boot, kernel, and Android filesystem versions that are matched for a particular release, as this was how the validation is done.  Even better, I suggest you move to the latest release available in order to take advantage of many bug fixes: http://omappedia.org/wiki/4AI.1.2_OMAP4_Icecream_Sandwich_Release_Notes 

    If you are using an HS OMAP device, make sure to use the latest version of the MShield signing tool, as using an older version could also introduce the error that you are seeing.  Contact your TI representative if you need help accessing the signing tool.
