I’m not aware of a single device solution that will enable both 4 channel D1 plus stereo audio, but you may use an ADC, for example the ADC3101, connected to the McBSP peripheral of the DM368 for input audio.

I agree with Marcus' reply. We dont have a single multi-channel video decoder that can support video and stereo audio. We recommend to use external audio codec like AIC3101 that supports stereo capture.

The ADC3101 has 3 stereo audio inputs but it has only 2 internal ADCs, therefore only 2 simultaneous stereo channels are supported at the digital interleaved audio output.

As the DM368 has only one McBSP port then only the digital interleaved audio output from the TVP5158 or from the ADC3101 can be connected to it (but not both at the same time).

The same limitation applies to AIC3101.

In conclusion, this solution will not provide the desired 4 stereo audio channels. Can you suggest us other solution?

PS: Do you have a TVP5158 updated driver compatible with DVSDK 4.x instead of outdated DM365_DVR_DVSDK3_00.02.00.00.zip?
