Hi,

I am looking for a 12 bit ADC with sampling frequency 10 MHz or more to attach with OMAP-L138 EVM Kit.

What direct interfaces are available in this board to attach serial or parallel A/D Converter ?

Is there any possibility to interface ADC EVM with this Kit ?

For high speed interface with ADC we recommend UPP. If you do a quick search on the forums you can see developers have used SPI, McASP, for slower sample rate ADCs.

Thanks for your input and sorry for my delayed response.

I found ADS6123 Evaluation Module to be the closest one according to my specification. Help me with some simple question as I don't know much about interfacing.

Do I need additional circuitry/expansion slot to attach ADS6123 Evaluation Module with OMAP-L138 EVM and OMAP-L138 Experimenter Kit OR I can simply attach ADS6123 Evaluation Module with UPP Interface ?

Sorry for the delayed response on this one. I have not worked with a ADS6123 Evaluation module so I won`t be able to comment on that part of your question. On the OMAPL side if you look at the EVM schematics the upp signal come out from J1, J3,U26, U29 connectors. Since you need a high speed interface between OMAPL and the ADC, you will want to bring out these signals reliably and connect them to the ADC. You may opt to use expansion boards or make physical connections on the board based on what you are comfortable with. If you see the need for connectors, here are some recommendations:
