I'm new to this processor. Other processors I've used in the past had a CPU ID which was a unique identifier. Is there one on this processor? I found a couple of possible suspects, but I'm not sure.
Thanks in advance.

AM335x does not have a customer accessible serial number. However, you may be able to use one of the Ethernet MAC addresses programmed into the device. Each MAC address is a unique 48-bit value from the TI assigned address pool.

Paul
Thanks Paul. I was actually looking for something other than the MAC address. But I'll use that.
thanks again.
