Does TI support VoIP solutions?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320VC5441, OMAPL138

Hello

Does TI support VoIP solutions anymore? I did some research and says VoIP moved to the multicore group, but may not be supported anymore. Just need some clarification on that.

Also, I can't find a previous part number of TNETV2242. It may now be the TMS320VC5441, but I need some clarification on that.

Thanks

  • Elush,

We do provide software that enables solution for VOIP  like the telecom libraries and audio codecs but for complete solution, we may have to point you to a third party

Please refer to the links below for the software offerings:

    Telecom Lib:

    http://www.ti.com/tool/telecomlib

    Codec software:
    http://www.ti.com/tool/c64xpluscodecs

The Linux SDK for OMAPL138 integrates these codec so that the ARM runs the high level OS while the codecs can be run on the DSP.

Also, a search for VOIP solution on ti.com should point you to reference solutions offered by TI third party networks.

    Regards,

    Rahul
