GEL OnHalt - can it be used to halt DMA activity?

Is there a way to use the OnHalt feature of a GEL file to halt DMA activity when a breakpoint has been reached?

Interesting idea. CCS can only access IO registers.

If you are thinking about C5515 family, I don't see how to halt DMA without accessing peripheral registers.
