Regarding Oscillator and RTC Grounding of DRA60x

Hi,
We are using crystals for both OSC and RTC of DRA604 processor. I would like to know if the below points mentioned in page 45 & 46 of the DRA6xx datasheet is valid.

"This terminal provides a Kelvin ground reference for the external crystal components. If a crystal circuit is connected to the RTC_XTALIN/RTC_XTALOUT terminals, the crystal circuit component grounds should only be connected to this terminal and should not be connected to the PCB ground plane. If an external LVCMOS clock source is connected to the XTALIN terminal, this terminal should be connected to VSS."

My doubt is if we have to connect the VSS_OSC and VSS_RTC pins to PCB digital ground plane also.

Thanks
Justin

This is valid for AM335X (as per AM335X Errata 1.0.30. Please note that at the moment DRA60X processors are not supported on this forum. If in doubt turn to your TI Representative/FAE.
