TMDXEVMPCI with TMDXEVM6678L ?

  • Hi,

Despite not officially tested or supported, any CCSv6 release works with Ubuntu 14.04/64 (check this page).

That said, the adapter board you mentioned seems to expand only the AMC edge connector of a typical C66x EVM. As far as I know JTAG debugging is not tied to the AMC connector of the C66x EVMs, therefore this adapter card does not influence the choice of CCS.

To be absolutely sure, I will move this thread to the C66x device forum as they would be more knowledgeable about this adapter card than I.

    Hope this helps,

    Rafael

  • Hi,

Welcome to the TI E2E forum. I hope you will find many good answers here and in the TI.com documents and in the TI Wiki Pages (for processor issues). Be sure to search those for helpful information and to browse for the questions others may have asked on similar topics (e2e.ti.com).

PCIe adapter card(TMDXEVMPCI) is used for connect the TMDXEVM6678L to host PC. Please download the latest Desktop Linux SDK for C6678 device and the follow Getting Started Guide to run the examples.

Better to use windows machine for CCS and MCSDK installation, CCS 5.5 versions is fine for bios_mcsdk_bios_mcsdk_02_01_02_06(Keystone I) package installation. Please download the latest MCSDK for Keystone I devices(C6657/70/78) and the follow user guide here.

    Thanks,
