OMAP L132 MMC Boot

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OMAP-L132

Hi.

I am trying to boot OMAP-L132 from SD in order to burn the nand automatically.

I did as stated in AIS boot document, i passed the u-boot through AISgen tool and successfully burnt it to sector 0 of the SD card.

After changing the deep switch to boot from MMC, i see that my u-boot is being loaded successfully. but i am not being able to create rootfs on the sd card.

In order to have a rootfs partition on the same SD card, i must have a partition table written in the MBR of the sd card.

But if i have partition table on the first sector, than i can't have u-boot.

How can i do?

When  i burn the u-boot i lose the partition table, when i recreate the partition table and put my rootfs on it, i lose the u-boot, and the board won't start.

Is there a solution? can i put the whole system (u-boot, kernel, rootfs) on sd card, then boot from it?

Kind Regards
