about AVS with C6657

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS56121, LM10011, TMS320C6657, UCD9222, UCD7242

Hi,

I  find a reference design for C667X in TI'WEB,http://www.ti.com/tool/tidep0011?keyMatch=C667X%20CVDD&tisearch=Search-EN-Everything. This reference design aims to supply the AVS core supply (CVDD) in the Keystone Multicore DSPs, mainly the C66x series. The C66x series uses SmartReflex technology to enable the DSP to control its supply voltage. In order to meet this requirement, this design combines a Synchronous Buck Converter (TPS56121) with the voltage Programmer for POL (LM10011).

In C6657 EVM, it use UCD9222+UCD7242 to apply CVDD. So, may I use this solution(TPS56121+LM10011) for TMS320C6657 with its CVDD?

Best Regards

Guan

  • Welcome to the TI E2E forum. I hope you will find many good answers here and in the TI.com documents and in the TI Wiki Pages (for processor issues). Be sure to search those for helpful information and to browse for the questions others may have asked on similar topics (e2e.ti.com). Please read all the links below my signature.

We will get back to you on the above query shortly. Thank you for your patience.

    Thank you.

Note: We strongly recommend you to create new e2e thread for your queries instead of following up on an old/closed e2e thread, new threads gets more attention than old threads and can provide link of old threads or information on the new post for clarity and faster response.
