have some question on the below
- Lets assume PCIe is configured as an endpoint and it is connected to a windows based PC through a PCIe switch. Can the windows read a file from the AM571x sd card through the PCIe. The AM571x is running linux?? Or they have to write some sort of an app to translate the PCIe command to a file read?
- Can the PCIe switch from rootcomplex to endpoint on the fly?? If they write to a GPIO and the software should change the mode of PCIe or it has to reload the driver in end point mode??
- Do we have the driver for the end point for linux not sure?? I saw on the forum that we said we don’t have the driver for the End point my customer does need it. Below is the site that the forum pointed to but it is very old so not sure…if not like to understand the time schedule for this.
