CCS/TMDX5502EZDSP: need help .out is not created because of #16020 file

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

we are working with the C5502 eZdsp development Kit and we want to implement the FFT in our DSP.

we download the DSPlib and we did follow all the instruction on the TMS320C55xx DSP library programmer ref : http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/spru422j/spru422j.pdf

and when we build our project it generate the error Type #16020 file FFT_API C/C++ Problem

Hi Samir, you have to give us some more information -

1. What version of CCS you use?
2. What version of the library and other tools you use?
3. What is the function that you try to run?
4. What exactly the error message is? Please take a screen shot of all the building process and attach it to the post

Hi ran; thanks for relpying:

first we are using the CCSv5.5 and the latest DSPlib i guess version 3
and we want to implement the FFT in the ezDSP c5502
the error message was about the directory Path and also the DSPlib that we use
in fact the DSPlib propose 3 lib for smal , large and huge apps
so what i did to fix that ?
i did change the Path for the DSPlib and i did change the library that i use for my application
and it did work

P.S : anyway i'm not very familiar with e2e and i have a picture for the problem but i don't know how to add it her

Thank you for the update. I am going to close the thread

E2e is great forum and you can search for any problem that you encounter (with respect to TI devices). TI has literally thousand of users so there is a big probability that someone else before you encounter the same problem (and these is an answer)
