hello,

i have EVM SK with SDK 02.00.00.00.

i'm using Ubuntu 14.04 with eclipse cross compiler to the SDK.

when i'm running gdbserver to debug my code i get the following error:

"... /lib/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.21' not found (required by ..."

what can i do with it? how can i upgrade the libc in the SK kernel?

Hello,

You could try:
strings /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libstdc++.so.6 | grep GLIBC
or
strings /usr/lib/i386-tab here/libstdc++.so.6 | grep GLIBC

The output of this command will be:

GLIBCXX_3.4
GLIBCXX_3.4.1
GLIBCXX_3.4.2
GLIBCXX_3.4.3
GLIBCXX_3.4.4
GLIBCXX_3.4.5
GLIBCXX_3.4.6
GLIBCXX_3.4.7
GLIBCXX_3.4.8
........

hi,

thanks for the answer,

but this won't help with my problem.

I guess the starter-kit kernel doesn't include the glic version I need for debugging.

the command that you gave just shows the glic that there is in the kernel.

I need to add it and I asked how to do it. (see the error I mentioned).

anyone?

Have you considered the option of building the gdbserver with the libraries and the version present in the SK EVM ? libgcc and the gcc toolchain are closely tied up.
