DM648CODECS: dvsdk_1_11_00_00_DM648 dm648_demo_0_92_04 - no ti.sdo.ce.examples.codecs.videnc_copy package

Part Number: DM648CODECS

I found the corresponding .sch, but there’s no packages directory in the path:

C:\dvsdk_1_11_00_00_DM648\codec_engine_1_20_02\examples\ti\sdo\ce\examples\codecs\videnc_copy\package

The rules about packages are spelt out by the IDE whenever it can’t a package, i.e. add a path to the packages level & make sure that the slashes are the right way around.

Am I supposed to copy & rename this example dir across to a package dir?

file:///C:/dvsdk_1_11_00_00_DM648/codec_engine_1_20_02/examples/build_instructions.html

says to Copy the entire "examples" tree out of the product

but it doesn’t to where (to a Platforms directory?)

But the html then goes on to advise me to edit

C:\dvsdk_1_11_00_00_DM648\codec_engine_1_20_02\examples\user.bld & build all of the packages.

But there’s no TI in it.

I looked at

C:\dvsdk_1_11_00_00_DM648\codec_engine_1_20_02\examples\xdcpaths.mak  but don't know where to start!

I've got the equivalent demo working on a 6437EVB, but the path through the 648 DVSDK seems to suggest that I should be trying this under Linux, & not on a TI processor i.e. that no one outside of TI has ever succeeded in this. Any comment, anyone?
