Dear all,

I would like to have a support for the following questions:

1) What is the recommended compiler for DRA756 processor:

2) I already have the Code Composer Studio for C6000 processor family (TMS320C6671). It is possible to use the same Code Composer, just include the DRA family?

3) I also have the ADS 1.2 compiler, wich seems to be compatible. Could you confirm such a compatibility?

HI, Lucas Santos,

Code Composer Studio is suitable for DRA family.

If you are able to connect ADS 1.2 compiler, you can also use it, but we do not test it.

We recommend using CCS.

OK, I can use the CCS as a IDE and Editor, however regarding the compiler itself I have this doubt.

See my Screen below. In the Device field, I would expect to see the DRA family, right?

How could I include it?

Hi Lucas,

What values you have in the "Family" drop-down - I think there should be "ARM", and when you select it the possible values under "Variant" should change.

Also it seems to be older version of CSS. It is recommended to use the latest 7.x:

Hello,

I have a lot of options, but I did not find the ARM Cortex A-15, which is the one that I am looking for.

Any tip?

Lucas Santos,

You are using very ancient CCS version. Please update to CCSv7, it's free.

When you install it make sure you have the DRA device support. Go to help->install new software-> select "--All Available Sites--" and check Automotive Device Support. Follow through the instruction steps. Restart CCS. Now you should see the following project window. You can compile with either versions
