TMDXEVM438X-EPOS: PRU writing to memory in Suspend to RAM state

Hi,

I'm interested on using the AM438x for a low power application. The processor will be in suspend to RAM state most of the time. During this state, I would like to have the PRUs collecting and writing data to memory. Is this possible? What is the lowest power state the processor can be in whilst the PRUs are still working?

Is there any power estimation of the PRUs writing to memory?

Hi,

In Suspend to RAM state the processor power is minimized by turning off all the processor power supplies except RTC power supply. What you suggest will be impossible.

Please see section 6.4.3 in the AM437x TRM Rev. G for more details on power modes.
