TMDXSK437X: Device will not power on

Hi Broydon Stufko,

What is the issue you face while you power it on?
Have a look at the starter kit guide below and ensure you follow proper steps. Are you doing "Push and hold
the power button until the board’s power LED is illuminated" ?

I have plugged the board in and when pushing and holding the power button, nothing is happening.

How exactly you verify that you are using bootable SD card? Have you verify that sysboot pins are configured for SD boot?

If you switch to UART boot, do you see CCCC symbols on the console?

I have followed the instructions in the starter kit and have tried starting from SD card and USB, but the device will not power on.  Regardless of what method I try to power it on with.  I have the provided power supply plugged in and nothing happens.

You are testing with brand new AM437x StarterKit, correct?

What I can propose you is to configure sysboot pins for UART boot and see if you will have CCCC symbols on the UART console.

Regarding SD boot, make sure you execute SDK/setup.sh and SDK/bin/create-sdcard.sh scripts to create bootable SD card, see below wiki pages for more info regarding these scripts:

Again, this is all well and good but the device will not even power on so I cannot boot at all.  I believe it is not functioning and would just like to return it.
