Our customer has a question about shipping inspection at factory. They would like to confirm whether L2 EDC on TCI6638K2K is tested at factory or not. Could you please tell us the situation? If L2 EDC is NOT tested shipping inspection at factory, how to guarantee this function?

At silicon verification & validation stage, all required function has been tested. Do you or your customer have a real issue in the field?

Thank you for your reply.
My customer didn't have a issue in the field. But they has checked the function and they would like to know the status at the TI's factory. I'll let you know if they have the issue.
