Dear Genius Colleague,

My customer Hikvision is using TMS320DM8167ACYG2 and they got a question. Whether it supports PCIE 8-bit read ? (readb())

It seems to read the register by 32 bits.

Hi Asher,

No, DM816x PCIe do not support 8-bit read.

Check DM816x TRM sections:

17.1.3 Features Not Supported
The following features are not supported by the PCIESS:
Outbound transactions involving less than 4 bytes

17.2.3.7 Outbound Transactions Involving Less than 4 Bytes
