AM3359: PRU-ICCS UART THRE bit problem

Hallo,

I am using PRUICSS UART on am3359 Sitara processor. I have problem with Line Status Register THRE status bit. It seems its not working sometimes when transmit and receive parallel using fifo without DMA.

Do you see that problem in the hardware as well ?

Hi,

There is no Errata describing such a hardware issue. Can you please describe your use case in more detail?

We have tested to send long frames it was breaking and measured delay when fifo is empty bit every cycle. It gave us the clue it must the problem due to long latency in the program its due to the fact that we need to poll LSR .

We tried to reduce the latency in the program then it is working now.
