TMDSIDK437X: Optional 20-pin JTAG

Hi experts,

It is stated in the User Guide of the IDK that the 20-pin CJTAG connector is optional. How may I ensure a part I would like to purchase will have this optional feature?

Is this CJTAG supported by XDS200.

Hi,

The boards are delivered without the 20-pin JTAG connector. Yes, XDS200 is supported.

Thanks. Sorry to ask again...

1) Should I conclude that I won't be able to use XDS200 (without this optional connecter) but just the onboard xds100v2.

2) Or is there another possibility (connectors shipped with xds200 I should already own)?

3) The board picture shows a 20-pin headers (see below). Is this the cJtag?

1. Yes, this is correct.
2. I don't think target board connectors are shipped with the XDS200.
3. Yes, this is the JTAG, however this photo is only an illustration. The HW user guide (www.ti.com/.../spruii2.pdf) clearly states in section 2.6:

"The EVM also has an optional 20-pin, CJTAG connector, from TI, to support the Emulation. This CJTAG connector is not installed by default."
