AM4384: RTC crystal load capacitance

Hi,

can an RTC crystal with lower C load, in the range of 6 to 9pF be used for the AM4384?

The main constraint is on the CPU side, where a minimum of 12pF is required according to the datasheet.

Is that a hard requirement or can Crystals with lower C loads be considered?

The background of my question is that the customer is thinking of using one crystal for two devices. But as you were pretty clear it is a strict requirement to run the RTC crystal at at least 12 pF, right.
