TMS320C5535: Problems recompiling C55x connected audio framework for ezdsp demo board

Hello,

I downloaded C55x connected audio framework from http://www.ti.com/tool/c55x-audioframework (v.02.00.02.04, date 15/5/2013). It seems that the project is made for ccsv5 but I imported it in ccsv7.4.0.00015, installed the required libraries and I compiled it successfully selecting the right configuration for my platform (Debug_c5535_eZdsp). When I download and execute the program the board is enumerated on the PC, the display on the board turns on and shows "Play Audio on Your PC" but when I play some sounds I do not get any sound from the audio out jack. When I boot from the SD card with the image preprogrammed by TI everything works fine instead.

Doing some debug it seems that the board remains in Stop state (maybe due to some event on USB?) and no audio is played back.

Did anybody experience the same situation? Do you have some suggestions?

I did this for the demo on SD card. My board was described as "USB speakers" and I selected that as default.
I thought it was ok also for the recompiled program but it was not. Recompiling the project the name changes to TI C55x USB Audio (I did not notice that) and the board is not selected as default speaker, it's selected by default only as headset for Skype for Business.
