TMS320C6748: ADS4242 can be connected to C6748?

Dear Team,

I found there is no SW driver for upp in latest PDK and I found it in old SW release based on BIOS v5.

I'm afraid it is hard for my customer to develop custom board and attach ADC to upp of C6748 as there is no upp port in our EVM(LCDK) and no SW for upp.

Could you please recommend how ADC can be connected to C6748?

Hi,

You can use ADCs that use SPI or I2C as a communication interface, for example here is a list of SPI ADCs:

I'm afraid SPI/I2C is too slow as they need to get 64k samples at a time, and I could not find high-speed ADC with SPI comparable with AD9251 as customer's current solution is AD9251(14bit, 20/40/65/80MSPS)
