Dear all,

can the tms320c6457 work with DDR3 ?

If not, is there any upgraded version of the tms320c6457 that supports DDR3 ?

    Hi Domenico,

    No, according to the data manual this device has a 32-Bit DDR2 Memory Controller (DDR2-667 SDRAM). There is no DDR3 controller.

    Which features of the C6457 do you require for your application?

    We started supporting DDR3 when we moved to the Keystone I family of devices, with part numbers starting with TMS320C66xx. You can look at the Product Guide at TI.com to search through the available devices by selecting the things you need in a DSP.
